1 on 1 Teaching With Riko

Make sure to fill out the placement test of the language you want to learn before booking a slot:

Japanese: Take Japanese placement test

English: Take English placement test

Currently, Riko is only accepting students at the beginner level and will offering higher-level lessons later on!

About lessons:

• Lessons will be made with content found with the Genki Japanese Learning books, Understanding English Grammar and other textbooks. These will only be used as material during the lessons, this is so you can revert to the textbook after lessons.
• Lessons will be performed through Discord on a private tutoring channel.
• Lessons will be one on one
• Lessons prices are for 1 hour of teaching
• Any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have about the service is best made before or after the lesson

Private tutoring rules:

• Be respectful.
• This is a learning lesson not a date.
• No recordings of the lesson.
• All material provided in the lesson and the lesson itself are created and own by Riko and should not be distributed elsewhere.
• Do not share details from the lesson outside of the lesson.
• Do not ask for personal information (e.g., age, location, sexual orientation, etc.).
• Be appropriate and be open to constructive criticism, you are here to learn.
• Do not ask Riko to say anything not included in the lesson (e.g., sexual content, sexual noises, inflammatory language, etc.).

If these rules are broken, students will be given one warning before the lesson will end and no refund/reschedule will be possible.
Further lessons will not be offered to students who break these rules more than once.

Cancellation:

• Cancel within 48hrs of the lesson to reschedule the lesson for a later date.

Refund:

• All lessons are non-refundable

Late arrival:

• Riko will wait until the end of the lesson.
